Each year at Christmas-time the Shop with a First Responder program assists over 60 students in the county, and involves first responders from the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Department, Castle Rock Police, Longview Police, Kelso Police, Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue, and the Dept. of Corrections. This year Kelso Police will also be sponsoring a Shop with a First Responder at Target. Woodland and Kalama Police are also sponsoring Shop with a First Responder events in their local areas.
